1997 Glen Carlou Grand Classique Reserve

Even plum red gradually fading to brick.
Attractive plum, pepper and alcohol nose - nicely integrated.
Medium bodied with concentrated berry/plum fruit and spicy old oak.
Rounded ripe tannins with warm acidity and a good finish. Smoke and pepper throughout.
Very good value.
