Opaque, black/purple and very viscous with a slight paling at rim.
Deep and thick nose of leafy, minty cassis fruit, and some vanilla - clean and young.
Full bodied with firm, dry tannins, Quite clean fruit but rounded, with some oak and decent length.
Very young.
[Guess: Texture said Syrah, possibly European. Time to give up!]
