1995 Pasolini dall'Onda Montoli Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG

Deep, mature red.
Wonderful, heady nose of herbs and leather with plenty of alcohol.
Medium bodied, with piercing red fruit flavours, bitter wood and herbs, and a long, long finish of aniseed and raspberries. Excellent balance.
Drinkable now but will last maybe another decade or more.
A fine wine.
