1996 Chapoutier Crozes Hermitage Meysonniers

Very deep garnet red with some paling at rim. Undeveloped nose with sweaty leather, spiced oak and some black cherry. Medium bodied and dry, with sour berry and cherry fruit, lots of peppery, old oak, light tannins and plenty of fruit acidity. Decent finish.
