Opaque purple fading gradually to garnet.
Opulent, alcoholic nose of black fruits, plums and oak - meaty but inviting.
Full-bodied with mouth-filling black fruits, lots of spice, rounded texture, dusty tannins and good acidity. Long and warm, dry finish.
Drinking now and over the next few years.
[Guess: Decent ripe Rhone or possibly New World Rhone varietals. Oops]
